Study hard before coming to the program, but also be flexible. The KCP curriculum is very specific and you may have to relearn something you thought you knew.

It felt like there was always room to work on Japanese in and outside of class, with presentations for speaking, and supplemental classes for reading and writing.

Try to immerse yourself as much as you can— go to conversation cafes, watch movies in Japanese, go and experience the culture as much as possible. It helps a lot!
