The brisk pace with which new material was introduced was perfect for me.
Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?
I opted out of the cultural class because group excursions don't appeal to me, but in the end I had a fairly interesting time at Kawagoe.
What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?
Most productive and interesting was definitely the time spent in class. The brisk pace with which new material was introduced was perfect for me. I was least interested in the ceremonies, though the completion ceremony after the final exam was satisfying.
What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?
Anything that encouraged me to speak in japanese, making my own sentences, was very helpful.
Any comments or tips for prospective/new KCP students?
The more you study before attending KCP, the more you'll get out of it.
