Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?
The cultural events of the first term culture class were extremely interesting and informative. I not only learned a lot but they provided a good change of pace from regular classes at KCP.
What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?
The most productive is the exercises and conversation practices in class. I have learned a lot through those. The least interesting and productive might be limited group projects where very little time was allotted to complete them.
What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?
Pair work is very useful, however it can depend on who you are sitting beside for the day. Games are difficult to understand for level one students due to the lack of vocabulary and grammar they have available to them.
What did you find most valuable in the Culture Course?
The excursions into Tokyo with some of the culture classes were the most valuable in my opinion.
