I particularly like group work, as I usually feel like it's the most practical way to improve in the language.
Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?
I really liked the barbeque; other events usually end up looking at historic sites or stuff like that and that's good too, but at the barbeque everyone in the school got to spend a fun day together without any particularly pressing things to do.
What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?
The opportunity to talk with other students from all around the world is always the best part of studying at KCP for me. Of course it's an opportunity to practice Japanese, but it's also fascinating to hear what they have to say about all kinds of things.
What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?
I particularly like group work, as I usually feel like it's the most practical way to improve in the language since you have to express your ideas and listen to other's opinions in Japanese.
