Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?
I enjoyed the tea ceremony and learning the Japanese customs involved in this.
Which co-curriculum classes did you find most satisfying?
I enjoyed going to watch the Kabuki show.
What were your goals in attending the KCP program?
To challenge myself as I am a beginner at learning Japanese but wanted to learn something new and have a unique life experience.
Why did you select this program?
From researching language schools the KCP programme came highly recommended, I thought the website was very informative and professional so I thought the course would be the right choice for me.
What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?
I found the textbooks most helpful plus the English support classes with Kato sensei, she was a great support. We didn't do too many games but I do think they are a good idea to make learning more fun and enjoyable.
Were you pleased with the general living arrangements? Anything you especially liked? Any problems you experienced?
I am happy with my living space at the dorm, it's fine for what I need and I'm happy I have my own bathroom and kitchen area. The only problems I've experience were noise from the other students very late at night/early in the morning which now seems to have been addressed. The dorm is well located close to Ikebukuro station so well connected for commuting to other parts of the city.
