Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?

The event that satisfied me was sports day. At first I didn't want to participate in sports day because I didn't like sports, but now I kind of enjoy sports and in the end I made new friends.

What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?

the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for me was the culture classes. learning about the Japanese beliefs on life really truly opened my eyes and head it makes me want to find out more about the Japanese culture.

What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?

The materials that I found most helpful was the mini games and pair work. the reason I say this is because with the mini games helps you understand a little more clearer of what going on in the class and for the pair work it makes the japanese language stick in your head.

What did you find most valuable in the Culture Course?

the thing I found the most valuable in the culture course was how things are run in japan, from what go`s on inside a household to producing an anime.

Testimonials

In general, I think the KCP program is really great and I’m very glad I decided to do it. It was a lot of work, but I learned a lot, met many interesting people from all over the world, and got to have a very different experience of Japan than the normal tourist.
