Kiran from Spring 2024

Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?

I thought the outings were rather interesting because they provided us with some outside-of-the-classroom experience to places I may have not gone otherwise.

What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?

I find the classes to be very productive. I can't really think of an aspect of the program that isn't interesting or productive.

What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?

I found the teachers teaching through the textbook, tests, and pair work to be the most effective.

Any suggestions for improving class activities or materials?

Perhaps more listening practice/聴解. Otherwise, overall I thought content was very well balanced.

Any comments or tips for prospective/new KCP students?

Keep up on the studying day-to-day and definitely use the study lounge (図書室) after class to either preview or just plan out your studying before you return home. Also, attendance is extremely important.

Testimonials

I selected it because I wanted a reputable and intensive program that would take a student who’s no longer affiliated with a college. KCP was the only program I found that satisfied this criteria. It also helped a lot that my friend recommended it.
