Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?
In the Winter term the class and myself all went to yokohama, i was able to make friends with people in my class and get a better understanding of my peers and teachers.
What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?
What was interesting was how different japanese teaching is to western teaching, i would say it was more engaging learning in the language you’re trying to learn. The least interesting thing would be taking tests of course but that’s normal.
What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?
Everything was extremely helpful, from speaking to other students in japanese, asking teachers questions and drill practices were very fun and interesting.
What did you find most valuable in the Culture Course?
How interesting and factual experiencing certain cultural places are with the teachers.
